Work through the question

Keep the answers with your notes.

  • Name what is being offered.

Tiny linked parts form a peptide, much as beads form a short string. Proteins are larger structures made from those same parts. Insulin is a peptide.

Ask for the exact medicine name and what it would treat. “Peptide therapy” leaves too much unsaid.

  • Check the product, not the sales pitch.

Pharmacy-made medicines, called compounded drugs, lack FDA approval as of September 26, 2026; FDA stands for Food and Drug Administration.

The FDA does not check their quality, benefits or safety before they reach patients.

Medicine review is part of the work of the FDA, a federal agency. Start with the product check if those terms are new.

  • Put the whole bill on paper.

Several national online weight-care services advertised separate charges for medicine and monthly care in September 2026.

A Tucson clinic’s own prices cannot be learned from those advertised fees. Ask whether the offer you are considering has a monthly care fee.

Ask for the visit fee, medicine charge, tests and follow-up costs. Then ask what each fee includes.

  • Look up the person who would treat you.

Arizona has different licence checks for doctors and other health professionals.

A licence is the permission a health professional needs to practise. Get the person’s full name and licence type before checking.
